Job Summary
Provide support for studio operations including, but not limited to, the sourcing, photography, and 3D scanning of automobiles, consumer products, industrial products, and client venues. Work may be performed at izmo studios or on location. The Assistant Photographer will support photography and 3D scanning activities, along with the upkeep and maintenance of photography and scanning equipment. The role works closely with the izmocars Senior Photographer and Scanning Technician. This position is responsible for assisting in the efficient photography and scanning of vehicles and products while ensuring all outputs meet izmo quality standards and also support studio setup, equipment handling, file management, and other production-related duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in studio production with scanning and photography of cars.
- Conduct pre-shoot vehicle preparation such as cleaning, aligning wheels for 3D scanning and photography.
- Prepare vehicles for 3D scanning and photography.
- Prepare vehicles for return to suppliers.
- Studio and equipment maintenance.
- Travel for on-location photography and scanning of cars.
- Manage image metadata, file naming, and upload processes into the company s asset systems.
- Work closely with teams to ensure the photography and scanning are done according to production requirements.
- Ensure efficient workflow and meet daily/weekly shoot targets.
- Provide a weekly report of the work duties performed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Experience in photography, scanning, field operations, automotive services, or a related technical role preferred.
- Interest in photography, 3D scanning, automotive technology, or digital content production.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with file management and data transfer processes.
- Knowledge of photography, 3D scanning, or 3D software such as Blender is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience in driving cars and a valid driver's license are considered an added advantage
