Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
3D Modeler to join our interior design team. This role involves creating high-quality 3D models and realistic visualizations for custom interior spaces and furniture.
The candidate will work closely with the design team to bring concepts to life through accurate 3D representations that help in design validation, client presentations, and execution clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models for residential interior spaces (living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, wardrobes, etc.)
- Develop custom furniture models based on design requirements
- Apply materials, textures, lighting, and finishes to achieve realistic renders
- Work on space planning and ensure design feasibility in 3D
- Collaborate with the design team to understand concepts and translate them into 3D visuals
- Produce high-quality renders for client presentations
- Make revisions based on design feedback and client inputs
- Maintain consistency in design standards, proportions, and detailing
- Optimize models for efficient rendering without compromising quality
Mandatory
Software Requirements
- SketchUp (3D modeling)
- V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion (Rendering tools)
Good To Have
- AutoCAD (for understanding plans)
- Photoshop (for post-render enhancements)
Technical Requirements- Strong understanding of:
- Interior design principles and space planning
- Materials, finishes, lighting, and color combinations
- Furniture design and proportions
- Ability to create realistic and visually appealing renders
- Knowledge of converting 2D drawings into 3D models
- Good sense of aesthetics and detailing
- Attention to detail in textures, lighting, and scale
Soft Skills
- Creative thinking with a strong design sense
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to understand and interpret design briefs quickly
- Adaptable and open to feedback
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in 3D modeling for interiors
- Experience in residential interior projects (custom interiors preferred)
