Role OverviewAs a 3D Generalist at Imprint Studios, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets and animations across a wide range of projects. You'll work closely with art directors, producers, and other team members to bring concepts to life, from initial modeling to final render.
Key Responsibilities- Create 3D models, textures, materials, lighting setups, animations, and renders.
- Collaborate with creative teams to interpret and develop concepts into 3D visual solutions.
- Work across various stages of the pipeline, from asset creation to final compositing.
- Optimize models and scenes for performance without sacrificing visual quality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques.
Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of professional experience in a 3D Generalist or similar role.
- Proficient in industry-standard software (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Houdini).
- Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, UV mapping, lighting, shading, and rendering.
- Experience with tools like Substance Painter/Designer, ZBrush, Photoshop, etc.
- Familiarity with render engines such as Redshift, Octane, Arnold, or Cycles.
- Solid grasp of form, color, and composition.
- Ability to take direction and work both independently and collaboratively.
Bonus Points- Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Knowledge of character rigging and animation.
- Motion graphics experience (After Effects, etc.).
- Scripting or procedural workflows (Python, Houdini, etc.).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and skills.
