3D Drone Animation Designer (Skybrush + Blender) US Hours

Full-Time | Remote

A fast-growing aerial entertainment studio that designs and delivers high-precision drone light shows for global events, brands, and experiences. The team blends 3D animation, motion design, and drone technology to create immersive sky-based storytelling using a fleet of FAA-certified autonomous drones.

We're looking for a Skybrush + Blender specialist who can turn creative concepts into flight-ready shows with pixel-level accuracy. If you understand drone choreography, formation logic, and animated sequencing this is your canvas.

• Create full drone light shows: storyboards formations animations flight-ready export
• Animate and design in Skybrush & Blender with consistency and precision
• Ensure all files meet spacing, altitude, airspace & regulatory constraints (FAA/Part 107)
• Collaborate with flight/ops teams to ensure designs are technically feasible
• Maintain a clean, structured workflow for multiple parallel projects

• 1+ year hands-on experience in Skybrush (mandatory)
• Pro expertise in Blender (animation, lighting, object motion)
• High attention to detail, safety-first mindset
• Strong understanding of airspace constraints and drone-show regulations
• Ability to work rotational PST hours
• Passion for motion graphics, 3D storytelling, and aerial shows
