Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
3D BIM Modeller & Coordination Specialist to develop accurate 3D models and coordinate multi-disciplinary systems for international projects (US, Canada, UK, Australia). The ideal candidate must have strong BIM modelling expertise, clash detection skills, and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modelling
- Create accurate and detailed 3D BIM models for structural, architectural, and MEP systems as per project requirements.
- Develop shop drawings, GA drawings, and coordinated layouts from the BIM model.
- Prepare LOD 300LOD 500 models based on client standards.
BIM Coordination
- Lead or participate in clash detection meetings using Navisworks/Revizto.
- Coordinate between structural, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure conflict-free design.
- Evaluate clashes, propose solutions, and update models accordingly.
- Manage BIM workflows and ensure adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
Documentation & Deliverables
- Produce high-quality 2D drawings, schedules, quantity takeoffs, and model-based reports.
- Maintain model accuracy, naming conventions, version control, and documentation.
- Prepare RFI logs and maintain coordination documents.
Client & Team Communication
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and international clients.
- Participate in project coordination meetings.
- Ensure all deliverables meet US / Canada / UK / Australia BIM standards.
Required Skills & Tools
- Hands-on expertise in Revit (Structure/Architecture/MEP)
- Experience with Navisworks Manage (clash detection & coordination)
- Knowledge of BIM360 / ACC / Trimble Connect / Dalux
- Understanding of international standards (AISC, AS/NZS, BS/EN, ASTM, etc.)
- Knowledge of construction processes, tolerances, and field coordination
- Strong understanding of LOD definitions, BEP, and BIM workflows
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a global team
Preferred Qualifications
- Worked on US, Canadian, UK, or Australian BIM projects
- Experience with Tekla Structures (optional advantage)
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 workflows
- Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination
- Ability to create clash reports and manage coordination cycles
Education
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering fields
Work Location
- Salem, Tamil Nadu (Onsite)
- WFH (Remote) option available.
