Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic 3D Artist to join our 3D Digital Imaging team. The ideal candidate would be well-versed in computer graphic with a strong foundation in 3D modeling, lighting, UV wrapping, rendering and who demonstrates photo-realistic asset creation of real-world objects. This position requires intrinsic design abilities, digital expertise, and acute attention to detail to build a near-perfect 3D asset from just a single or small set of photographic references or image sequence. Ability to work within and across large, interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and partnership. The ideal candidate will be accomplished in working with a variety of 2D and 3D software packages and demonstrate the ability to raise the quality bar in 3D Product visualization.
Key Responsibilities
. Create photorealistic 3D model with superior build quality and look & feel
. Paint 3D assets and materials to use in web-based and real-time applications
. Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity
. Continuously improve workflows and processes
. Ability to coach/train the junior artist on the production floor
. Share best practices, identify process improvement and operational waste reduction
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. 3+ years of proven professional experience working in a fast-paced 3D production environment
. Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering
. Fast turnaround on complex hard-surface and organic modeling is a must
. Highly proficient in rendering and retouching 3D renders to accentuate photo-realism
. Open to accept and work on constrictive feedback's to deliver high quality 3D asset
. Must be mastered in Maya, Adobe Photoshop and with highly proficient in ZBrush, Substance Painter and other relevant software
. Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Able to excel in a fast-paced collaborative production environment
. Highly proficient in creating complex product visualization as accurate photo-realistic 3D models, textures, lighting and rendering
. Strong time management, communication and team-oriented mindset where the candidate has executed successfully against deadlines
. Capacity to early adopt new process and approaches to deliver high visibility results
. Ability to innovate and implement process improvement
. Ability to showcase artistic work in a portfolio
