About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and technical 3D Design & Printing Specialist to help us turn ideas into reality. This isn't about industrial-scale manufacturing; it's about the art of the small build. You will be responsible for taking 2D images or sketches and transforming them into high-quality, physical 3D prototypes and small products.
If you are someone who spends your time perfecting tolerances in CAD and loves the plug-and-play efficiency of high-speed printers like Bambu Lab, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities- Reverse Engineering & Modeling: Create accurate 3D replicas and original designs based solely on reference images or 2D sketches.
- Prototyping: Manage the end-to-end process of printing small products, from slicing to the final physical part.
- Printer Management: Operate and maintain prosumer-level FDM printers (Bambu Lab X1/P1 series or similar).
- Material Selection: Choose the right filaments (PLA, PETG, TPU, etc.) based on the product's intended use.
- Iterative Design: Quickly adjust 3D models based on print results to ensure perfect fit and finish.
What We're Looking For- Software Mastery: Proficient in 3D modeling software (Fusion 360, Blender, SolidWorks, or Shapr3D).
- Slicing Expertise: Deep knowledge of Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer. You should know how to optimize settings for speed without sacrificing quality.
- Hardware Fluency: Experience with Bambu Lab printers (or similar high-speed FDM machines like Voron, Creality K1, etc.).
- Eye for Detail: The ability to look at a photo and understand the dimensions, scale, and mechanical requirements of the object.
- Portfolio: A demonstrated ability to show Image vs. Final Print results.
