Chartered Accountant Cost management

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle all aspects of cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Utilize cost performance tools to monitor and improve financial performance.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and cost management.
• Proficiency in cost performance tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• In-depth knowledge of the Indian tax system, including direct and indirect taxes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in IT industry.
• Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
