We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented 2D Motion Designer to join our team in Pune.

This role is for a design-led 2D Motion Designer who can take a creative brief, develop a visual direction, create compelling 2D designs and style frames, and bring those designs to life through animation.

This is a 2D Motion Design role, NOT a Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor role.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand creative briefs and translate them into strong visual concepts and engaging 2D animation.
• Develop visual treatments, moodboards, storyboards and style frames based on the brief.
• Create original 2D designs, layouts, compositions and graphic elements for animation.
• Design and animate typography, illustrations, icons, shapes, transitions, infographics and other 2D visual elements.
• Create polished animation with strong understanding of timing, spacing, rhythm, anticipation, easing and visual hierarchy.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of composition, typography, colour, layout, hierarchy and design principles.
• Interpret brand guidelines and develop motion content that is consistent with the brand's visual identity.
• Prepare animation-ready artwork and organize project files efficiently.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively communicate any challenges or dependencies.

Required Experience :

• 2–3+ years of professional experience in 2D Motion Design / Motion Design.

Required Software

Mandatory:

• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop

Good to have:

• Basic understanding of 3D / Cinema 4D / Blender
• Familiarity with plugins and tools used for 2D animation
  

Portfolio / Showreel Requirements

A showreel or portfolio is mandatory.
