Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented 2D Draughtsman to join our interior design team. This role involves creating highly accurate and detailed 2D drawings for custom-made furniture and interior modules, ensuring smooth execution at site.
The candidate will work closely with the design and execution teams to translate concepts into precise technical drawings that guide on-site installation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D drawings for custom furniture and interior modules (wardrobes, kitchens, TV units, etc.)
Convert SketchUp models into detailed 2D drawings using Layout
Create
Plan views
Elevations
Sections
Detailed joinery drawings
Ensure all drawings include accurate dimensions, materials, finishes, and construction details
Coordinate with the design team to understand custom modules and detailing requirements
Support the execution/site team with clear, practical drawings for installation
Revise drawings based on site feedback and changes
Software Requirements
Mandatory
SketchUp
Layout (for detailed drawing sheets and documentation)
Good To Have
AutoCAD (2D drafting – added advantage)
Technical Requirements
Strong Understanding Of
Modular furniture systems
Carpentry and joinery detailing
Basic site installation processes
Ability to convert custom designs into precise, execution-ready drawings
High attention to detail - drawings must be clear, accurate, and site-friendly
Soft Skills
Quick learner - able to adapt to new designs and custom solutions
Good coordination and communication skills
Practical thinking with a problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
1–3 years of experience in interior drafting
Experience in custom interiors (not just standard modular)
