About the Role
We're looking for a skilled 2D Animator to create smooth, satisfying animations for objects, UI elements, and environmental motion in Unity. You'll be responsible for making every interaction feel polished and juicyfrom buttons and popups to collectibles, obstacles, and in-game feedback. If you obsess over easing curves and love making things bounce, spin, and pop, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
- Create animations for in-game objects like collectibles, obstacles, power-ups, and environmental elements
- Design UI/UX animations including buttons, transitions, popups, and reward sequences
- Build satisfying feedback animations for player actions and game events
- Set up and manage Unity Animator Controllers and animation clips
- Implement tweening animations using DOTween or similar libraries
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance game feel and juice
- Optimize animations for smooth mobile performance
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in 2D animation for games or interactive media
- Strong portfolio showcasing object animations, UI motion, and visual feedback
- Hands-on experience with Unity's Animation system
- Proficiency with DOTween or LeanTween for procedural animations
- Solid understanding of easing, timing, and motion principles
- Experience optimizing for mobile platforms
- Ability to work quickly and iterate based on feedback
Nice to Have
- Experience shipping casual or hyper-casual mobile games
- Familiarity with Unity's Particle System for 2D effects
- Basic C# scripting knowledge to hook up animations
- Eye for casual game aesthetics and polish
