2D animation artist/AI content creator (kids animation)

Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for a 2D Animation Artist / AI Content Creator focused on kids animation. The role involves creating engaging 2D animated content, including character animations, scenes, and transitions tailored for children's educational storytelling. The artist will collaborate with educators, writers, and designers to develop storyboards, visual concepts, and short animated videos that explain STEM concepts in a playful and accessible way. Day-to-day tasks include designing characters and backgrounds, animating sequences, integrating AI-assisted tools for content generation, and refining animations based on feedback. The role also includes maintaining a consistent visual style, ensuring age-appropriate content, and preparing final assets for various digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in 2D Animation and Character Animation for kids content.
• Proficiency in Animation fundamentals and Storyboarding for narrative-driven projects.
• Familiarity with 3D Animation is an advantage for creating hybrid or supplemental content.
• 1 year - 3 years experience with industry-standard animation software (e.g., Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, After Effects) and basic image editing tools.
• Interest or experience in using AI tools for content creation, asset generation, or workflow optimization.
• Ability to create visually appealing, age-appropriate designs that support learning and engagement.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in Animation, Design, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
