Job Description: 2D/3D Designer & Visualisation SpecialistPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled 2D/3D Designer & Visualisation Specialist to support our creative and technical teams in producing high-quality visual content. The ideal candidate will have strong aesthetic sensibilities, excellent technical skills in design and rendering software, and the ability to convert concepts into compelling visualisations. This role involves creating 2D layouts, 3D models, photorealistic renders, animations, and presentation materials.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Modelling- Create detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and illustrations as required for projects.
- Develop 3D models (conceptual and detailed) using industry-standard software.
- Produce high-quality photorealistic renderings, walkthroughs, and visualisation assets.
- Ensure design outputs align with project specifications, brand guidelines, and technical requirements.
Visualisation- Generate immersive 3D visualisations, mood boards, and conceptual presentations.
- Enhance models through lighting, texturing, materials, and environment setup.
- Prepare animations, flythroughs, and VR-ready content (if applicable).
- Collaborate with designers, architects, engineers, or marketing teams to interpret visual briefs.
Collaboration & Workflow- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine concepts and incorporate feedback.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Maintain an organised library of materials, textures, models, and assets.
- Support pre-production and post-production processes for design presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Animation, Multimedia, or related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as:
- 3D: 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, Maya, Rhino, Cinema4D
- Rendering: V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, Enscape, Unreal Engine
- 2D/Graphic: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- (Optional) AutoCAD, Revit for technical drawings
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, materials, and colour theory.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and convert them into visual outputs.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and visual storytelling abilities.
- Good project management and time-management skills.
