Role Description The 2D/3D AutoCAD Designer Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The intern will support the design team in creating 2D and 3D drawings and layouts for retail spaces, event setups, exhibitions, and brand activations using AutoCAD and related design tools. Daily responsibilities include translating conceptual briefs into detailed plans, preparing presentation drawings, assisting with construction and fabrication drawings, and updating designs based on feedback from senior designers and account teams. The intern will collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet brand guidelines, spatial constraints, and technical requirements. This role offers hands-on exposure to advertising and event production workflows and an opportunity to develop practical design and space planning skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Drawing and Architectural Drawings skills for creating accurate 2D and 3D representations.
- Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills to prepare detailed plans and specifications for fabrication and installation.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to design functional, visually appealing layouts for events, retail environments, and brand activations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with designers, project managers, and vendors and to interpret client briefs clearly.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); familiarity with other design tools such as SketchUp, Illustrator, or Photoshop is an advantage.
- Pursuing or recently completed education in Architecture, Interior Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow guidelines, and readiness to learn in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and commit to full-time internship hours.
