1025_SAP Cloud Migration Project Lead(PL)-APJ

Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Cloud Migration Project Lead to drive SAP cloud migration initiatives. This role demands a candidate with extensive SAP BASIS expertise (8+ years), experience in customer-facing roles such as team lead or project manager, and a strong background in Enterprise Cloud Services for SAP. As the Project Lead, you will manage and guide cross-functional teams, engage directly with clients, and ensure successful execution of SAP RISE cloud migrations that align with business objectives.

Project Lead acts as a trusted advisor with a strong customer focus in the onboarding / migration into SAP Cloud environment, supports ECS customer migration into the Private Cloud from a project and program perspective, while advocating for the customer and bringing the power of GCE to assure a smooth transition with the landscape and business delivery.

The Project Lead will work as a team with the GCE and Delivery internally and external parties as Hyperscalers, to serve our customers, by providing quality services to satisfy their needs and coordinating infrastructure and application complexities throughout their onboarding cycle. Main point of contact between ECS & Customer stakeholders during onboarding phase for both Greenfield & Brownfield (migration) projects

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with SAP BASIS, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Network exposure is needed on cloud azure, gcp and aws.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles such as Team Lead, Project Manager, or Project Responsible, with a focus on enterprise cloud migration.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise cloud services with SAP, including SAP RISE, SAP Cloud Platform, and migration to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SAP's cloud architecture, security frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.
• Demonstrated experience working with cloud integration in SAP environments.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead migration projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
• SAP Certifications in SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA, preferred.
• Experience with SAP RISE migrations or similar cloud transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-based disaster recovery and backup solutions for SAP systems.
