Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Real Estate & Construction)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Head Human Resources

Experience Required: 10-15 years (minimum 5 years in construction/real estate hiring)

We believe that exceptional talent is the foundation of our success, and we're looking for a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader to help us build high-performing teams across all verticalsespecially in project execution and construction.

Position Overview

As the Assistant General Manager Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment strategies with a special focus on hiring for technical and construction-related roles. You will work closely with senior leadership to understand workforce planning, ensure a high-quality candidate experience, and position the organization as an employer of choice in the luxury real estate space.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Sourcing Skills

  • Proficient with Boolean search, X-ray search, and other advanced techniques.
  • Experienced with multiple platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS, GitHub, niche forums, etc.
  • Ability to build and nurture talent pipelines for both active and passive candidates.

Strong Screening And Evaluation Capabilities

  • Ability to assess CVs quickly and accurately for technical and cultural fit.
  • Understands key role requirements across a range of functions (e.g., tech, sales, operations).

Skilled at interpreting career progression, identifying gaps or inconsistencies

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Design and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth, particularly for construction, engineering, architecture, project management, and site roles.
  • Partner with department heads to understand current and future hiring needs.

Construction & Technical Hiring

  • Lead recruitment efforts for roles such as civil engineers, MEP professionals, project managers, site supervisors, and quantity surveyors.
  • Build a strong network of candidates in the construction and real estate domain.

Leadership Hiring

  • Manage mid to senior-level hiring across business, design, legal, sales, and project teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with senior management to provide hiring insights, market mapping, and workforce planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent market trends and hiring best practices.

Employer Branding

  • Champion the company's employer brand by crafting compelling job descriptions, career pages, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and forums.

Recruitment Operations

  • Optimize recruitment processes using ATS tools and data analytics.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source of hire, and cost-per-hire.

Assessment & Selection Expertise

  • Behavioural Interviewing: Skilled in evaluating both competence and cultural fit.
  • Role-specific Evaluation: Understanding of what makes a high-performing luxury real estate hiring person
  • Bias Mitigation: Promoting fair, inclusive hiring practices.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

  • Uses data to improve sourcing strategies (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline conversion rates).
  • Capable of tracking and reporting metrics to hiring teams and leadership.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (1012 years) in talent acquisition with at least 5 years in real estate and construction hiring.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction functions and hiring practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be articulate and confident in engaging with senior leadership and high-value candidates.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring recruitment teams.
  • Proficiency in using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
