What we are looking for
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (4–8 years of experience) with expertise in Selenium Automation Testing and Data Testing. This individual will play a key role in building the testing layer at ProcDNA by designing robust automation frameworks, validating complex data pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software releases across multiple technology stacks.
Beyond executing test cases, we are looking for someone who can bring a strong testing culture, establish best practices, and work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium
- Develop automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
- Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across databases, ETL pipelines, APIs, and reporting solutions
- Create SQL-based validation scripts for large datasets
- Build automated data validation processes for modern data platforms
- Define test strategies, test plans, and quality standards for new products and enhancements
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to identify quality risks early
- Drive defect management by identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying issue resolution
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance
- Measure and report test coverage, automation effectiveness, and release quality metrics
- Establish QA best practices and contribute towards building ProcDNA's long-term testing capability
What You'll Need
- 4–8 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar
- Strong knowledge of Data Testing methodologies
- Excellent SQL skills with experience validating complex datasets
- Experience testing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting solutions
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
