What would you be doing

This is a performance-first creative role - output will be judged by what it does in-market (hook rate, CTR, watch-time). You will own creative end-to-end, from script to shipped ad, and iterate on the numbers.

Own the Category Brand: You will own how a category on the app shows up and set its creative direction. You will read the signals that matter (what's working in our best-performing ads, how users actually behave, what's shifting in the market) and turn those insights into the direction the rest of the creative follows.
Script Generation at Volume: This is the core of the role. You'll be responsible for producing a high volume of ad scripts every week. Scripts need to be on-brand, culturally relevant, trend-aware, and built to perform on Instagram and YouTube. Speed and quality aren't a tradeoff here - both are non-negotiable. If you've never operated at this kind of volume before, this role will teach you what creative velocity actually means.
AI-Powered Creative Production: You'll use AI tools end-to-end to go from script to final video - including voiceover, avatar generation, captions, and editing. We're not looking for someone who's just curious about AI; we want someone who already lives in these tools. Experience with platforms like HeyGen, Higgsfield, Kling, ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut, or similar is a strong signal. Hands-on output matters more than theoretical familiarity.
Data-Backed Creative Thinking: You'll work closely with the performance marketing team to read dashboards, identify what's working, and translate signals into sharper creative decisions. When something underperforms, your first move is to look at the data - not your gut. This means designing structured experiments (hooks, CTAs, visual styles), tracking results, and iterating with intent.
Research & Trend Intelligence: You will lead primary research (customer interviews, surveys) and secondary research (competitor ad libraries, cultural trends) to stay ahead of what resonates with our Tier 2/3 audience. You spot what's about to trend before it does - and you move fast enough to use it.

What makes you a suitable candidate

At least 2 years of experience in scriptwriting and ad generation
Native fluency in internet culture - you know what's trending before it trends
Comfortable with data - can read a performance dashboard and act on it
High ownership and accountability - you don't wait to be told twice, and you take the outcome personally
Hands-on experience with AI video/creative tools (HeyGen, Higgsfield, Kling, ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut AI, or similar) would be a massive plus

Why should you join Airblack
