About Pixelo:

As a new-age B2B demand-generation and product company, we specialise in accelerating sales for our clients through innovative marketing strategies. At Pixelo, we take pride in our team's expertise in growth marketing and go-to-market capabilities. With a dedication to staying ahead of industry trends, we deliver exceptional results customised to meet the individual needs of each client.

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven SDR Lead to lead our Sales Development function and drive outbound pipeline generation across target markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing outbound prospecting strategies, identifying high-potential accounts, driving qualified meeting generation, and leading the SDR team towards achieving business and revenue goals. You will oversee multi-channel outreach across cold email, LinkedIn, and cold calling while ensuring effective targeting, personalised messaging, and consistent follow-ups.

You will also own SDR performance, establish processes for prospect research and campaign execution, and use data and automation to improve outreach efficiency and conversion rates. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership, you will help build a scalable outbound engine that generates qualified opportunities and contributes to business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong outbound sales expertise with team leadership, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to building scalable prospecting systems.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Strategy & Pipeline Generation

Develop and execute outbound sales development strategies aligned with business objectives, target markets, and revenue goals.
Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, target accounts, and decision-makers to build focused outbound campaigns.
Own outbound pipeline generation and establish weekly and monthly targets for qualified meetings, Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), opportunities, and other relevant performance metrics.
Plan and execute multi-channel outreach strategies across cold email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other relevant channels.
Identify new market segments, industries, and account opportunities to expand outbound pipeline generation.
Research target companies, buying signals, industry trends, and business triggers to improve prospect targeting and campaign relevance.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and manage the SDR team to achieve individual and collective outreach, meeting-booking, and pipeline targets.
Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for SDRs.
Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions to improve productivity and conversion rates.
Train SDRs on prospect research, account prioritisation, outreach personalisation, objection handling, and meeting qualification.
Monitor team performance and identify gaps in execution, productivity, and lead quality, implementing corrective actions where required.
Build a culture of ownership, consistency, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the SDR team.

Outbound Campaigns & Execution

Oversee the execution of personalised cold email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and cold-calling initiatives.
Develop effective outreach messaging, sequences, follow-up strategies, and call scripts tailored to different industries and buyer personas.
Ensure consistent execution of multi-touch outreach sequences to maximise prospect engagement and meeting conversion.
Review campaign performance, prospect responses, and call outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the team in handling prospect objections, refining value propositions, and improving the quality of sales conversations.
Stay hands-on with strategic accounts, key prospects, and campaign optimisation when required.

Prospect Research, Data & List Building

Oversee prospect research, target account identification, contact sourcing, and lead list building based on defined ICPs.
Establish processes for data enrichment, contact verification, segmentation, and account prioritisation.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of prospect databases to support effective outbound execution.
Leverage intent data, account intelligence, and relevant business signals to identify high-potential prospects.
Continuously improve targeting and data quality to minimise wasted outreach and maximise campaign effectiveness.

GTM Automation & Outbound Systems

Build and optimise scalable outbound workflows, prospecting processes, and campaign execution systems.
Leverage tools such as Clay, Apollo, Lusha, Smartlead, Instantly, Phantombuster, Prospectoo, and relevant automation platforms.
Explore tools such as n8n, Make.com, and Zapier to automate repetitive tasks, streamline prospecting workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
Establish processes for lead sourcing, enrichment, segmentation, outreach sequencing, and CRM updates.
Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve personalisation, prospect research, campaign execution, and SDR productivity.
Ensure outbound systems follow appropriate data quality, email deliverability, and platform usage practices.

Performance Tracking & Optimisation

Track and analyse key SDR metrics, including emails sent, deliverability, reply rates, positive response rates, calls made, meetings booked, SQLs, and pipeline generated.
Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor individual, team, and campaign performance.
Identify performance gaps and implement data-backed improvements across targeting, messaging, channels, and follow-up strategies.
Conduct regular experiments to improve outreach effectiveness, meeting conversion, and overall pipeline efficiency.
Monitor email domain health, bounce rates, and deliverability to maintain sustainable outbound performance.
Share regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations with leadership.

Sales Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align outbound campaigns with broader GTM priorities and revenue objectives.
Establish clear qualification criteria and lead handoff processes to ensure smooth transitions from SDRs to the sales team.
Collaborate with marketing to align messaging, campaign targeting, and demand generation initiatives.
Gather feedback from sales conversations to refine ICPs, messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies.
Ensure CRM records, outreach activities, meeting outcomes, and pipeline information are accurately maintained.
Contribute to improving the overall outbound sales process, sales development playbooks, and team operating procedures.

Qualification:

Exposure to GTM automation tools such as Clay, n8n, Make.com, or Zapier will be an added advantage.
Experience working with CRM systems, tracking sales development metrics, and maintaining accurate pipeline and activity records.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and implement improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coach SDRs on personalisation, objection handling, and prospect engagement.
Strong leadership, project management, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and team targets.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
