We are building a modern enterprise SEO growth engine, one that goes far beyond keywords and blog production into AI Search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and outcome-driven organic growth. This role sits at the heart of that evolution.

We are looking for an SEO Manager who thinks like a growth owner and communicates like a consultant. This is a client-facing individual contributor role: you will own organic growth strategy and execution for a portfolio of enterprise and high-growth B2B partners, translating SEO into pipeline, leads, and revenue.

You will be the person clients trust in the room. You will lead working sessions, present strategy and results to marketing leaders, defend recommendations with data, and turn complex SEO concepts into clear decisions that move the business forward. Strong communication is not a nice-to-have here, it is the core of the job.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to drive impact directly rather than manage a team. You will go deep on strategy and execution, and your performance will be measured by the growth you create for your partners.

This is an IC role and will not involve managing a team

What You Will Own

Own end-to-end organic growth strategy for a portfolio of enterprise and B2B clients, tied directly to traffic, leads, and pipeline outcomes
Act as the primary SEO point of contact for your accounts, leading client conversations, QBRs, strategy presentations, and ongoing relationship management
Build and execute SEO roadmaps that span traditional search, AI Search, and GEO, ensuring brands are discoverable and cited across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews
Own Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): structure content, entities, and schema so brands are surfaced, cited, and recommended by AI answer engines
Track and improve brand visibility, share of voice, and citation frequency across AI search platforms, and build reporting that makes AI-driven performance measurable
Optimize content for AI retrieval through entity coverage, structured data, answer-ready formatting, and authority signals that LLMs trust
Run keyword, topic, intent, and entity research to identify and prioritize high-value growth opportunities
Optimize on-page and content elements, including meta data, structure, internal linking, and entity coverage, in partnership with content teams
Design and execute off-page and digital PR strategies to build authority, domain strength, and brand citations
Lead technical SEO audits and work with client and internal development teams to drive implementation
Track, analyze, and report performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, and related tools, connecting activity to business results
Translate data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations, and present them confidently to client stakeholders
Stay ahead of algorithm changes, AI Search behavior, and GEO best practices, and bring a point of view on what they mean for your clients

What We Are Looking For

4-6 years of hands-on SEO experience with a clear track record of driving organic growth and measurable business outcomes
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with the confidence and polish to lead client relationships and present to senior marketing stakeholders. This is the single most important quality for this role.
Strong client-facing experience, comfortable owning accounts, managing expectations, and building trust with enterprise and B2B partners
A growth and outcomes mindset, focused on leads, pipeline, and revenue rather than rankings alone
Comfort operating as an individual contributor, owning your portfolio end to end without relying on a team to execute
Deep knowledge of SEO fundamentals, search algorithms, and ranking factors
Hands-on experience with, or strong demonstrated understanding of, AI Search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): how LLMs and AI answer engines retrieve, cite, and recommend content, and how to optimize for it
Familiarity with structured data and schema, entity-based optimization, and emerging GEO tooling and measurement
Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, and similar tools
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into insight and action
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines without dropping quality
Familiarity with CMS platforms and a working understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
Experience with off-page SEO, link building, and digital PR
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
