Digital Marketing Executive — SEO, Content & Social Media

Company: SaaS Innova

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Employment: Full-time

Experience: 1–2 years; relevant internships, freelance work and personal projects count.

About the role

SaaS Innova is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who enjoys turning ideas into published work. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day execution of SEO, content marketing and social media marketing.

You will research keywords, optimise website pages, write and publish content, manage our social media calendar and track performance. We want someone who delivers consistently, checks their work and understands who each piece of content is for and what it should achieve.

What you will do

SEO execution

Conduct keyword research and search-intent analysis for blogs, website pages and landing pages.
Execute on-page SEO: optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, image alt text and website content.
Support off-page SEO through relevant backlink outreach, guest posting, business listings and digital PR opportunities.
Check indexing, broken links, site speed and mobile usability; resolve issues within your ability and coordinate technical fixes with developers.
Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush to monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings and website performance.
Refresh existing content to improve accuracy, relevance and search visibility.

Content creation and publishing

Research, write, edit and publish blog posts, LinkedIn posts, social media captions, case studies, newsletters and landing page copy.
Create clear, useful, SEO-friendly content with a consistent brand voice.
Repurpose content across formats, including blogs, carousels, social posts and email.
Maintain the content calendar and deliver work on schedule.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to support research and drafting, while checking facts, language and quality before publishing.

Social media execution

Manage day-to-day content across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
Write copy, create or brief visuals, schedule posts and maintain a consistent publishing rhythm.
Support company-page and founder-led content, with LinkedIn as our primary B2B channel.
Handle community engagement, including relevant comments, replies and conversations.
Use Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later or similar scheduling tools.
Track reach, engagement, follower quality and enquiries; suggest improvements based on results.

Reporting and ownership

Maintain a simple monthly report covering organic traffic, keyword rankings, content performance, social media engagement and leads.
Explain what worked, what did not and what you will change next.
Run small experiments and follow through on agreed tasks without repeated reminders.

What we are looking for

1–2 years of practical digital marketing experience.
A working understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO and keyword research.
Experience writing, publishing and managing social media content.
Clear written English, with strong proofreading and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and social media analytics.
Good organisation, reliable execution and the ability to meet deadlines.
Curiosity, openness to feedback and willingness to learn new tools.

You do not need to be an expert in every area. Strong fundamentals and evidence of work you have completed matter more than a long list of tools.

Good to have — not mandatory

SaaS or B2B technology marketing experience.
Canva or Figma skills.
Basic video editing for Reels and short-form content.
Exposure to email marketing, Google Ads or Meta Ads.

Why join SaaS Innova

Real ownership of work that gets published and measured.
Direct access to leadership and a short feedback loop.
Support to learn, test ideas and build practical marketing skills.
A team that uses AI tools thoughtfully and values clear thinking.

How to apply

Apply through LinkedIn with your CV. Include links to any content, social media pages or SEO projects you have worked on, and briefly explain your contribution.

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to review one of our LinkedIn or Instagram posts and suggest one improvement and one idea for the next post.
