About Nexya

Nexya is an early-stage startup building a pay-per-minute digital mentorship platform - connecting people who need real, on-demand expertise with mentors who can actually help, without the friction of long commitments or bloated pricing. We're at the first-floor stage, which means the work you do here will directly shape how the platform scales.

The Role

We're looking for a Research and Outreach Intern to work directly with the Research and Growth team on one of the most important problems : finding and planning to acquire users organically.

This isn't a post on our channels role. You'll be experimenting, digging into online communities, and figuring out what actually gets people to try our product. If you love spending time on Reddit, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram - and have a knack for reading what a community actually cares about - this is for you.

What You'll Do

Identify and reach out to potential early users across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, Instagram, and wherever else our audience hangs out
Experiment with different acquisition angles - cold outreach, community engagement, content, partnerships - and figure out what works
Participate authentically in relevant subreddits, Twitter threads, LinkedIn conversations, and niche communities to build awareness for Nexya
Track what you try, what works, and what doesn't - and share learnings weekly with the Team lead
Draft posts, DMs, and outreach copy that sound human, not corporate
Help shape our positioning and messaging based on what you hear from real users

What We're Looking For

Genuinely active on social platforms - you don't just have accounts, you understand how each platform's culture actually works
Reddit-savvy - bonus points if you have real karma on relevant subreddits and understand what gets upvoted vs. what gets you banned
Strong written communication - you can write a DM or comment that doesn't feel like spam
Scrappy, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity - you'll be figuring things out, not following a playbook
Curious about startups, mentorship, edtech, or the creator economy
Willing to try things, fail fast, and iterate

Nice to Have

Prior experience with community building, growth marketing, or running your own social presence
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, and basic analytics
A portfolio of content, threads, or campaigns you've run (even personal ones count)

What You'll Get

Direct mentorship from the industry experts - you'll see how an early-stage startup actually gets built
Real ownership of growth experiments, not just busywork
Flexibility to work remotely and manage your own time
Path to convert to a full-time role based on performance
A front-row seat to Nexya's zero-to-one journey
