Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Solar Sales Consultant role based in South Delhi. The Solar Sales Consultant will identify and qualify prospective customers, explain solar solutions, and provide tailored proposals based on energy usage and site conditions. The role involves conducting in-person consultations, coordinating site visits, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate system design and pricing. The consultant will manage the sales pipeline, follow up with leads, negotiate contracts, and support customers through the onboarding and installation process. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining product knowledge, staying informed about industry trends and incentives, and achieving individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills, with experience in direct customer-facing roles.
Ability to understand and explain basic solar energy concepts, system components, and financial benefits.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software to manage leads and prepare proposals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships.
Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple leads, site visits, and follow-ups.
Motivated, target-driven mindset with a commitment to ethical, transparent selling practices.
Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, or related infrastructure sales is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
Comfort working on-site, traveling within South Delhi for client meetings and assessments.
