As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development practices meet high standards for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of technical approaches are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and effective problem-solving within the team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and consistency.
Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions.
Experience in leading software development teams and managing project delivery in complex environments.
Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges while balancing business requirements and technical constraints.
Familiarity with integration techniques and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
