A global consumer brand is scaling its presence across India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a National Business Development Manager to lead growth across modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce channels. This is a senior, market-facing mandate reporting into the country leadership team. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As National Business Development Manager, you will own the national go-to-market plan for the brand, building distributor and retail partnerships, managing key accounts, and setting the channel strategy that regional teams execute against.

Key Responsibilities

National Channel Strategy

Build and own the national go-to-market plan across modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce
Identify and close distributor, retailer, and marketplace partnerships across regions
Set annual targets and territory plans, then track performance against them

Leadership and Reporting

Lead and mentor regional business development managers to execute the national plan
Present pipeline, forecast, and market intelligence to the leadership team

Ideal Candidate Profile

8 to 14 years in business development or sales leadership, with national or multi-region ownership in consumer or retail
Proven record of building distributor and retail-channel networks at scale
Strong commercial negotiation and profit-and-loss ownership skills
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing a team of regional business development managers
Exposure to modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce channel dynamics simultaneously
