Who we are

Practice by Numbers is the all-in-one growth platform for dental practices. Over 5,000 US providers run their day on us: AI that answers every call, analytics that surface the revenue hiding in a schedule, and communication tools that keep chairs full. We plug straight into the software practices already run on — Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental and 10+ more — so they upgrade without migrating.

The US dental market is enormous, fragmented, and still runs on the phone. That is your opening.

The role

You own a defined book of dental practices and one mission: start conversations that become demos. Phone, email, LinkedIn, Facebook — whatever gets a decision-maker talking. You don't close deals; you build the pipeline everything else runs on. You'll report to our Senior SDR Manager, and on a team of five, everyone can see exactly what you built.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Prospect every single day. High-volume outbound across phone, email and social to owners and office managers who need what we sell.
Qualify hard, book real. Have actual conversations, pressure-test fit against our ICP, and put quality meetings on AE calendars.
Own your patch. Work your segment or PMS book cleanly — no double-touching, no stepping on a teammate.
Live in HubSpot. Log every call and touch the same day. If it isn't in the CRM, it didn't happen.
Protect the rhythm. Daily standup, then heads-down power-calling blocks nobody gets to interrupt.
Hand off like a pro. Give AEs the context they need to walk in and win.

What you'll need

NON-NEGOTIABLES

2–4 years of experience. In a B2B sales development, inside sales or outbound seat. Enough time on the phone that a cold open doesn't faze you.
SaaS outbound. You've run cold outbound for a software product and owned a pipeline number for it. Not inbound, not support, not account management.
US or EMEA market. You've sold into one of these markets and you're fluent with how those buyers talk, decide and object.

WHAT MAKES YOU GOOD AT IT

A voice people stay on the line for. Articulate, quick, hard to rattle.
Discipline. Organised, CRM-clean, and consistent on the days the dials aren't landing.
Coachability. You take the feedback and it shows up on the next call, not next quarter.

Dental, healthcare or practice-software exposure.
HubSpot fluency and multi-channel outbound experience.

The variable paid on qualified demos held — not on activity, not on vanity meetings, but on real conversations that reach an AE.

You help us scale — then you lead it. This pod is the seed of a much bigger sales org. The founding SDRs are the ones who build it, and they get first claim on what comes next: leading a team of their own, or moving into an AE seat and closing. We'd rather promote our closers than hire them.
