About the Role

Desun Hospital, Siliguri is looking for a Finance & Accounts professional to support day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and audit-related activities.

The role will involve working closely with the hospital's finance and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial operations and effective compliance with applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ledger maintenance, and financial records.
Prepare MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
Support GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliance activities.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documentation.
Process vendor payments and support payroll-related finance activities.
Coordinate with hospital departments and administrative teams on finance-related matters.
Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
Assist in strengthening internal controls, processes, and SOPs.
Ensure finance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and organisational policies.

Required Skills

Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally Prime is preferred.
Experience with ERP or hospital management systems will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple finance-related activities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

CA, CA Inter with B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification is preferred.
0-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or compliance.
Candidates with relevant experience in healthcare or hospital finance will be preferred.
