As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release cycles, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and optimize functionality. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of the applications are essential to provide seamless user experiences and support operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
Assist in the planning and execution of application upgrades and patches.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Experience with configuring and customizing SaaS applications to meet business needs.
Familiarity with using APIs and low-code platforms for application integration and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize system performance.
Ability to manage application releases and ensure smooth deployment processes.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques to maintain system stability and reliability.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
