Role Overview

We are looking for a Travel Consultant - Sales to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for handling travel enquiries, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable travel solutions, converting leads into bookings, and achieving sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and customer-handling skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and an interest in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Handling

Handle inbound travel enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budgets.
Recommend and sell domestic and international tour packages, flights, hotels, and add-on services.
Prepare and share quotations based on customer requirements.
Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

Itinerary & Booking Coordination

Coordinate with the Operations team for customized itineraries and quotations.
Coordinate with the Operations team for booking confirmations and updates.
Ensure timely issuance of tickets, hotel vouchers, and other travel documents.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and bookings.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain regular and timely follow-up with prospective customers.
Provide pre-travel and post-travel assistance.
Handle basic customer concerns and complaints professionally.
Build strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in travel sales, tourism, hospitality, or a related field; freshers with a strong interest in travel sales are welcome.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer-handling and negotiation skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel products.
Basic knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
