Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing customers, and promoting the company's construction equipment solutions within the assigned territory. Typical tasks include conducting client visits, understanding project requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in line with company guidelines. The role involves collaborating with technical and service teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales support. The Area Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitors, and sales performance, prepare regular reports, and contribute to regional sales strategies and targets.
Qualifications

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction equipment, industrial machinery, or related sectors.
Strong skills in client relationship management, territory management, and opportunity pipeline building.
Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into clear value propositions for customers.
Competence in sales forecasting, basic pricing and margin calculations, and use of CRM or sales reporting tools.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience can substitute.
Willingness to travel frequently within the region and visit construction sites and client offices.
