ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Cyber Security Intern, you will assist in identifying security risks, monitoring systems, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting basic cybersecurity activities.

The role will provide practical exposure to security assessment, vulnerability analysis, security monitoring, documentation, and cybersecurity best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in identifying and analyzing basic security vulnerabilities

• Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities

• Monitor security events and assist in identifying potential threats

• Assist in reviewing system and application security configurations

• Research common cybersecurity threats and security best practices

• Support basic security audits and documentation

• Assist in preparing security reports and maintaining records

• Help identify potential risks and suggest basic security improvements

• Collaborate with team members on cybersecurity projects

• Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies

ELIGIBILITY

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong interest in cybersecurity and information security

• Willingness to learn and work on practical cybersecurity projects

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals is preferred

• Basic knowledge of security tools and vulnerability assessment is preferred

• Understanding of operating systems and basic command-line concepts

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills
