Build and enhance APIs and backend services that power insurance illustration, quoting, and product platforms.
Ensure calculations are accurate, performant, auditable, and aligned with product requirements.
Apply strong object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and .NET architectural best practices.
Develop comprehensive unit tests and support automated testing to ensure calculation integrity and system reliability.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex business logic and application issues.
Collaborate with product, actuarial, QA, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for calculation logic, system design, and implementation details.
Provide accurate effort estimates and take ownership of deliverables through design, development, testing, and deployment.
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Handson experience with Excel for understanding and validating calculation logic.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.
Experience using Git / Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools.
Strong debugging, problemsolving, and analytical skills.
Ability to bridge actuarial logic and software engineering
High ownership and accountability for assigned work
Comfort working in distributed India–US teams
Strong attention to detail, especially around financial accuracy
Willingness to continuously learn insurance domain knowledge and modern engineering practices
