The Role

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Nurse Team Lead (NTL) for the Alcohol Drug and Recovery Service (ADRS) within East Renfrewshire. Joining a supportive and well-established integrated health and social care team, the successful candidate will provide professional leadership and operational management to health staff, helping to deliver the national mission to reduce harm related to alcohol and drug use. The role will also support the ongoing development of a more integrated Mental Health and Recovery Service model.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Permanent, full-time, 36 hours per week

Shift pattern - Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Base location - Barrhead Health and Care Centre

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional leadership and operational management to health staff within ADRS.
Support service transformation and the development of integrated Mental Health and Recovery Services.
Maintain a reduced caseload, overseeing and monitoring patients within community settings.
Contribute to change management initiatives and clinical/care governance activities.
Collaborate with multi-agency and multidisciplinary teams at local and national levels.
Deputise for senior management when required.
Provide cross-team cover to ensure safe, effective, and efficient service delivery.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

Essential Requirements

Experience in management and leadership within Mental Health and Recovery Services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and support both regulated and unregulated professionals.
Knowledge and experience of clinical governance, service improvement, and integrated working practices.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency environments.
