We're Hiring | Senior Legal Executive – Bangalore

We are looking for a Senior Legal Executive to join our Corporate Legal team and support day-to-day legal operations, contract management, employment law matters, compliance, and corporate legal activities.

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2–5 years

Qualification:5-Year LLB

Education: Candidates should have no gaps in education

Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in Software/IT companies

Position Overview

The Senior Legal Executive will support the corporate legal team in managing day‑to‑day legal operations, along with ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, employment laws, assist and own drafting, reviewing, redlining of contracts and maintaining legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and redline standard contracts, MSA, SOW, NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
Maintain and update the contract repository.

HR, Labor & Employment Laws:

Strong understanding in interpretation and implementation of global employment laws.
Assist in reviewing and ensuring compliance with labor and employment regulations, including employee contracts, workplace policies, and disciplinary procedures.
Legal & inter department support in handling employee relations matters,
Conduct legal research on evolving labor laws and prepare guidance notes to keep the company updated on statutory obligations.
Involve in corporate governance and policies as required.
Assist in responding to legal notices and draft legal letters.

Legal Research & Advisory:

Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and employment law matters.
Prepare summaries and reports for senior legal executives and management.

Dispute Resolution Support:

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on litigation and dispute matters.
Collect and organize evidence, documentation, prepare legal note and documents, and case files.

Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
Maintain legal files.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong understanding of Corporate, Commercial & Contract Law
Excellent legal drafting, reviewing, redlining & research skills
Knowledge of Employment & Labour Laws
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Good understanding of technology/software businesses
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
