Your area of work:

For our new office in Hyderabad, we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer supporting the further development of our leading-edge Trading System T7 offering order and quote management, on- and off-book trading services in simple and complex instruments. You will shape a motivated team, working in an international environment, driven to keep up the highest levels of service quality while constantly allowing for integration of functional and technical improvements in a fast-changing domain.

Functional System Test verifies that the Trading System T7 meets the specified functional requirements for both new and existing functionality. Your effective collaboration with the specification, build and acceptance teams working in our distributed environment is crucial and relies on clear communication, trust, and usage of digital tools. Functional System Test provides essential feedback for decision taking for installing software fixes, enhancements, changes, or new releases of the Trading System Software in the higher test environments, acceptance, simulation, and production.

Your Responsibilities:

Plan and perform functional system testing of the Deutsche Börse Group Trading System T7, with timely and high impact feedback.
Closely align with the functional, build and acceptance teams for a streamlined efficient delivery process.
Self-organize software testing for your area of expertise with focus on responsibilities, contents, and schedule.
Create and update test models and scripts for test automation.
Constantly enhance (automated) smoke test and regression test portfolios to ensure high functional coverage.
Ensure that the software deliveries fulfil the defined quality requirements for the installation in higher test environments and in production.
Drive the continuous improvement of software testing activities / processes and test reporting.

Your Profile:

University degree in business studies or in Engineering or comparable qualification.
Strong expertise in functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems is essential.
Deep knowledge of test methodology, management, planning and execution. A professional tester certification, e.g., ISTQB is beneficial.
Deep experience in iterative and agile development methods with dedicated expertise for testing of software from a functional perspective.
Deep experience with creating, executing and analyzing automated functional tests.
Solid user experience in Linux operating system, GitHub, Jira and continuous integration.
Expertise in scripting for test and test automation; scripting in python is preferred.
Inter-personal skills are essential to successfully fill this position.
Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to organize work and drive results in our international team.
Proficiency in written and spoken English
