To support our goals as an industry leader, we are seeking a compliance analyst to join our dynamic Legal & Compliance team at our Gurgaon office. The position will report to : QA Manager - Compliance

This person must be able to self-manage, work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, timely and efficient.

Job responsibilities:

Completing quality assurance (QA) review activity in line with documented standards relating to Financial Crime policies:

gift & entertainment
sponsorships & donations
client & third party due diligence
sanctions screening

and providing feedback to ensure that standards are maintained.

Acting as a first level escalation point for colleagues when they escalate queries, making decisions where applicable, providing responses to such queries, or escalating to senior colleagues where required.
Co-ordinating and documenting the second line review of third party (re)approvals preparing case summaries & risk assessments
Completing regular risk-based monitoring, identifying potential issues and making recommendations for follow up activity.
Maintaining & analysing financial crime related data & preparing regular MI reporting
Supporting on other project work as required

Skills/competencies required:

Has hands-on experience in managing Risk and Compliance workflows, Client/Third-Party Due Diligence, Watchlist Screening and Enhance Due Diligence.
Has Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to Advanced Word, basic PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with data analytics & AI solutions/tools
Demonstrable critical thinking and risk-based approach to problem solving
Has good writing and proof-reading skills, including the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
