Senior Accounts Manager (CA) - A fast-growing FinTech company - Jaipur

Job Summary: A fast-growing FinTech company operating in the emerging digital financial services space is looking to hire a Senior Accounts Manager – CA with 6–8 years of experience to manage accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, reconciliations, audits, and financial controls.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reporting.
Ensure proper accounting of revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and provisions.
Conduct regular ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
Ensure books of accounts are maintained accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payment of applicable taxes.
Coordinate with tax consultants and external professionals as required.
Support tax assessments, audits, notices, and related documentation.
Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.

3. Audit & Internal Controls:

Coordinate with statutory, internal, and other external auditors.
Prepare audit schedules and provide required financial information.
Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate control measures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and financial controls.

4. Reconciliation & Financial Controls:

Oversee bank, payment gateway, vendor, customer, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
Review outstanding balances and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and supporting records for financial transactions.
Handle complex and high-volume reconciliations as required.

5. Team Management & Cross-functional Coordination:

Manage, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.
Review team performance and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
Allocate responsibilities and establish effective accounting processes.
Coordinate with HR, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and other departments on finance-related matters.

6. Business & Management Support:

Prepare financial analysis and MIS reports for management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Provide insights on cost optimization and overall financial performance.
Assist management in evaluating the financial implications of business decisions.
Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems, ERP, and finance processes.

Key Requirements:

Strong accounting fundamentals and knowledge of financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Strong understanding of reconciliations, audits, and internal financial controls.
Experience in managing and mentoring an accounting team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High-volume transaction and complex reconciliation experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in FinTech, financial services, crypto exchanges, or stock market/financial trading businesses will be an advantage.
Exposure to digital asset/crypto accounting and transactions will be an added advantage.
Experience managing complex reconciliations and high-volume financial transactions is preferred.

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience in accounts & finance, preferably with experience in financial services, FinTech, crypto, or related industries.

Working Days: 5.5 days of working, alternate Saturday off
