About TriHusLab

TriHusLab is an education and design-technology company working with schools to introduce practical, project-based learning through STEM/STREAM, design, digital fabrication, creative technology and hands-on learning programmes.

We work with schools to create engaging learning experiences that expose students to design, technology, engineering and real-world applications.

We are looking for a Business Development Executive based in Coimbatore who can help us connect with schools, introduce our programmes and develop new business opportunities across the region.

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

Make cold calls to schools and introduce TriHusLab's programmes and services
Identify the appropriate decision-makers such as principals, coordinators and school management
Follow up with interested schools and schedule meetings/demonstrations
Visit schools within Coimbatore and nearby regions for in-person meetings
Conduct product/programme presentations and demonstrations after training
Make cold walk-ins to potential schools where appropriate
Generate and develop new school leads
Follow up consistently with prospective schools
Maintain clear records of calls, meetings, demos and lead status
Coordinate with the internal team regarding quotations, proposals and follow-ups
Support other team members with business-development activities where required
Build relationships with schools and identify potential partnerships/referral opportunities
Provide regular updates on leads, conversations and market feedback

Who Can Apply

We are open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with previous experience.

Prior sales or marketing experience is NOT mandatory. Training and guidance regarding our products, presentations and sales process will be provided.

We would particularly prefer candidates from backgrounds such as:

Engineering – BE/BTech
Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Science
Architecture / Design
Science / Technology
Education / EdTech
MBA / BBA candidates with an interest in technology and education
Other relevant technical or educational backgrounds

The most important requirement is the ability to understand our programmes and confidently explain them to schools.

Skills We're Looking For

Good spoken English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence speaking with school management and decision-makers
Willingness to make cold calls and follow up consistently
Comfortable visiting schools and giving presentations/demos
Basic understanding or interest in STEM, technology, design or education
Ability to learn technical/product information
Self-motivated and organised
Comfortable coordinating with a remote/internal team
Willingness to travel within Coimbatore and nearby areas

If you are a fresher with a technical/educational background and are interested in business development, EdTech and working directly with schools, we encourage you to apply.

You do not need previous sales experience.

Travel

This is a field-oriented role.

The candidate should be comfortable travelling to schools across Coimbatore and surrounding areas for meetings, demonstrations and business-development activities.

Travel requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during the interview.
