PhD scholarship opportunity

The Centre of Orthopaedic & Trauma Research at the University of Adelaide has five funded PhD Scholarships available with applications closing on October 31 / Dec 1 2023.

Project available cover: (1) Statistical shape and appearance models of human joints from next generation MRI sequences; (2) pose estimation models for gait analysis; (3) outcomes for total hip replacement; (4) time to recovery from pelvic fracture using wearable sensors; and (5) spatial mapping of high-definition EMG for use in clinical and animal studies.

Some of the scholarships offer flexible start dates with no limitation on the nationality of the applicant. Others are restricted to Australian and New Zealand citizens / permanent residents.

All scholarships offer a stipend of $32,500 p.a. (tax free) for 3.5 years (indexed annually) plus tuition fees.
