Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant / Account Executive to support our Finance and Accounts team in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and financial record management.

Requirement Skills

Good Knowledge of MS Excel

Familiarity with accounting software and accounting systems.

Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Knowledge of TDS calculations, payments, and return filing.

Knowledge of PF, ESI, TDS, GST and other statutory compliances.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in accounting software.

Manage expense reports, reimbursements, and invoice processing.

Perform bank and vendor reconciliations.

Prepare and process TDS payments and assist with TDS return filing (e-filing).

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, and TDS regulations.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Analyze financial data and prepare basic accounting reports.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.

Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Familiarity with finance regulations and accounting practices.
