Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also use your skills by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

As a Sales Engineer, you will manage the post-sales performance of ELSP & ELSB Products in Faridabad (NCR), India, specifying and implementing effective Panel Builder channel initiatives in line with global strategy.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Territory & Business Development: Manage coverage of Panel Builders, Key Industries, Building, Utility End Users, and influencers identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to reach regional sales targets.
Sales Pipeline & Market Intelligence: Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts, and share relevant market intelligence and customer insights with the Sales and Marketing teams.
Customer & Channel Management: Develop good, long-term relationships with Panel Builders and Channel Partners by understanding customer needs, resolving issues, ensuring a positive customer experience, and acting as a trusted technical partner.
Partner Expansion & Business Growth: Expand the expansion of IEC 61439-compliant partners in the assigned territory, promote new products and digitalization solutions across ELSP & ELSB, and conduct product promotion events and technical seminars.
Order Fulfillment & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate material delivery and after-sales service for Panel Builders, ensure effective information flow across sales activities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless customer support and business results.

Qualifications for the role:

Sales Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in Sales, with solid exposure to the LV Switchgear market in the NCR region.
Product Knowledge: Solid knowledge and practical experience in Low Voltage Equipment, LV Switchgear, and Electrical Distribution solutions.
Industrial Segment Knowledge: Good understanding of the Industrial customer segment, market dynamics, customer requirements, and electrical distribution applications.
Direct Sales & Business Development: Demonstrated experience in direct sales, account management, business development, and cross-selling to meet sales and revenue targets.
CRM & Sales Operations: Working knowledge of SFDC/CRM operations, including opportunity management, sales pipeline tracking, forecasting, and maintaining customer information.
Customer & Communication Skills: Solid written, verbal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a customer-centered mindset and an initiative-driven approach.
Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or higher qualification in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a full-time, regular program, with relevant industry experience.
