Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. The engineer also develops infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is a key part of daily activities, ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to optimize cloud infrastructure for enhanced reliability and performance.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align cloud platform strategies with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
Strong understanding of system architecture and integration of cloud and non-cloud environments.
Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
Familiarity with testing methodologies to validate architecture viability and security.
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
