Leadership role for the Medical division (team size of 10, revenue above $5M)
Base salary up to $9,000 (Base) + Car Allowance + Bonus

We are partnering with a well-established Singapore-based distributor of scientific and medical instruments with over 40 years of track in Southeast Asia. Organised into 6 business divisions, the company is a trusted partner to hospitals, research institutions, and healthcare facilities across the region, representing a wide portfolio of renowned global brands in medical devices, capital equipment, and laboratory solutions. As the current incumbent moves into an internal promotion, they are looking for a strong Sales Manager / Business Unit Manager to step in and take the reins.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take commercial ownership of the Medical Device Division, leading a team of up to 10 headcount comprising Product Specialists, Clinical Application Specialists, and administrative support, and driving a divisional revenue of over SGD $5M . You will develop and execute the division's sales strategy, set and manage KPIs and business plans for the team, and oversee monthly sales activities to ensure targets are met. You will build and maintain a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), principal manufacturers, and strategic partners, while also overseeing tender submissions, commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

You will coach and develop your team continuously, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring all activities remain compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Pre-sales planning, new business seeding, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and principals will also be key parts of the role.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 8 – 10 years of Sales / Business Development / Account Management experience within the Medical Devices and/or Capital Equipment industry, with a strong and proven track record in leading and managing sales teams of at least 3 - 5 headcount. You will need to have managed a revenue size of at least SGD $5M and demonstrated sustained commercial results. Prior experience in medical imaging, diagnostic equipment, or hospital capital equipment will be an advantage.
