Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage payroll operations for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Oversee end-to-end payroll activities including inputs, validations, salary processing, statutory deductions, reimbursements, variable pay, bonuses, and final settlements.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, labour laws, Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, LWF, e-TDS, Form 16, and TRACES requirements.
Review payroll outputs, perform reconciliations, audits, and validations to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
Maintain maker-checker controls, process governance, SOPs, and payroll documentation.
Lead, coach, and develop the payroll team while driving operational excellence and quality delivery.
Manage client relationships, address escalations, conduct payroll helpdesk activities, and ensure SLA/TAT adherence.
Prepare payroll MIS, JVs, compliance reports, and management dashboards with actionable insights.
Support statutory, internal, and external audits by providing accurate records and documentation.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Maintain employee payroll data confidentiality and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.

Eligibility & Experience

Graduate in any discipline.
7+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll administration, statutory compliance, tax computation, and payroll governance.
Proven experience in team management, client handling, and managing payroll operations for multiple clients or large employee populations.
Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations, including Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, LWF, e-TDS, Form 16, and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in payroll systems, payroll reconciliations, audits, MIS reporting, and process improvements.
