The role combines client relationship management, investment advisory, portfolio construction and business development. The Senior Wealth Specialist will own a defined set of client relationships, with a strong focus on deepening existing relationships while selectively acquiring new clients.

This is a client-facing role and will involve regular physical meetings with clients, understanding their financial goals, providing investment recommendations and becoming a trusted partner to the family over the long term.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

Own and manage a defined portfolio of HNI and affluent clients
Build deep, trusted and long-term relationships with clients and their families.
Proactively engage clients through regular calls, portfolio reviews and face-to-face meetings.
Develop a deep understanding of each client's financial goals, investment philosophy, risk appetite, liquidity requirements and family circumstances.
Act as the primary relationship owner for clients and ensure a consistently high-quality AssetPlus client experience.

2. Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management

Understand the client's overall financial position and investment portfolio.
Develop appropriate investment strategies aligned to the client's objectives and risk profile.
Recommend suitable investment solutions across mutual funds, PMS, GIFT City Funds, and other products available through the AssetPlus platform.
Work closely with AssetPlus investment research team to translate investment views into actionable client recommendations.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews and proactively identify opportunities to improve asset allocation, diversification and portfolio outcomes.
Explain investment recommendations, risks and expected outcomes clearly and simply to clients.
Maintain a long-term, advice-and-assisted led approach rather than a transaction-led approach.

3. Farming & Share of Wallet

A core responsibility of the Senior Wealth Specialist at AssetPlus will be to significantly deepen existing client relationships.

Develop a clear relationship and business plan for every key client.
Identify opportunities to increase AssetPlus share of wallet within existing client relationships.
Identify assets currently held with other wealth managers, banks, brokers and platforms.
Proactively identify investment needs and opportunities through regular portfolio reviews.
Generate referrals from satisfied clients and develop the AssetPlus client network organically.

4. New Client Acquisition

Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospective HNI clients.
Acquire new clients through personal networks, referrals, professional networks and other channels.
Develop relationships with CAs, lawyers, investment bankers, entrepreneurs and other trusted advisers who can generate referrals.
Conduct prospect meetings and understand the prospect's financial requirements.
Present the AssetPlus Wealth proposition and convert qualified prospects into long-term clients.
Develop a sustainable personal network that contributes to the growth of AssetPlus Wealth.

5. Client Experience

Deliver a differentiated, high-touch and highly responsive AssetPlus Wealth experience.
Ensure that client requirements are followed through from recommendation to execution.
Coordinate closely with AssetPlus investment research, and operations teams to deliver seamless service.
Proactively communicate important portfolio developments, investment opportunities and relevant market developments.
Take complete ownership of client issues and ensure timely resolution.

6. CRM, Data & Business Discipline

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and engagement records in the AssetPlus CRM.
Maintain a clear action plan for every key client, including next meeting, portfolio opportunity and business opportunity.
Track client AUM, flows, revenue, share of wallet and relationship activity.
Maintain a disciplined prospect pipeline and follow-up process.
Ensure all client interactions and recommendations 100% comply with AssetPlus policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

5–10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory or a related financial services business.
Strong experience managing HNI/UHNI or affluent client relationships.
Strong understanding of investment products, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
A demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior and financially sophisticated clients.
A strong farmer mindset and ability to identify opportunities within an existing client portfolio.
Demonstrated ability to acquire clients through referrals and personal networks.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct senior-level client meetings and explain investment concepts clearly.
High integrity and a strong client-first mindset.
