Role & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms
Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development
Design test automation frameworks for focusing on performance, reliability, and accuracy
Collaborate with trading desk, users, and development teams to understand business requirements
Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning
Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools
Participate in UAT processes with users and key stakeholders for front to back initiatives
Proactive analysis of incidents to implement preventive measures

Required Qualifications and experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8-10 years of software QA experience, strictly in financial services
Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
Handson with GitLab, Jenkins/Gitlab CI
Hands-on experience in AI/ML/GenAI backed test practices
Experience testing APIs and data pipelines
Good understanding of global financial markets, trading systems
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Reg NMS, etc.) is an added advantage
