About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO/AEO Specialist to drive organic growth for our B2B SaaS business. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes search—from traditional SEO to the evolving world of AI-powered search, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will own our organic search strategy and execution, helping increase qualified traffic, demo requests, and pipeline. You'll work closely with product marketing, content, and leadership to ensure our products are highly visible wherever buyers search—whether that's Google, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, or other AI-powered discovery platforms.

Our solutions help organizations improve operations using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, workflow automation, AI-powered business solutions, and help desk technologies.

What You'll DoSEO, AEO & Organic Growth

Own and execute the company's SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy.
Improve visibility across Google and AI-powered search experiences including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging platforms.
Conduct keyword research, topical authority planning, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
Build and optimize content clusters that improve rankings and answer buyer questions throughout the customer journey.
Optimize technical SEO fundamentals, on-page SEO, internal linking, structured data, and site architecture.
Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to increase qualified organic traffic and demo requests.
Stay ahead of search algorithm changes and AI search trends, continually adapting our strategy.

Content Strategy & Optimization

Partner with subject matter experts to develop high-performing content, including:
Blog articles
Landing pages
Product pages
Comparison pages
Customer success stories
Buying guides
Knowledge base content
Optimize existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions.
Develop content briefs backed by keyword research, search intent, and competitive analysis.
Ensure all content aligns with SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Track and report on rankings, traffic, conversions, organic pipeline, and other key SEO KPIs.
Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and leading SEO platforms to identify opportunities and measure success.
Analyze user behavior and search trends to improve performance.
Recommend and implement AI tools and automation that improve SEO workflows and content production.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to identify high-value content opportunities.
Collaborate with developers on technical SEO improvements.
Help educate internal teams on SEO and AI search best practices.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications1. Deep B2B SaaS Experience in a Relevant Industry

5+ years of SEO experience within a B2B SaaS company.
Experience marketing software in one or more of the following categories:
Help Desk
IT Service Management (ITSM)
Service Desk
CRM
Workflow Automation
Enterprise Productivity Software
Customer Support Software
Business Process Automation
Strong understanding of complex B2B buying cycles and enterprise software purchasing.

2. Expert-Level SEO & AEO Experience

Demonstrated success growing organic traffic, qualified leads, and pipeline through SEO.
Deep understanding of modern search, including:
SEO
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
AI-powered search experiences
Semantic search
Structured data/schema
Entity optimization
Experience creating content that performs in both traditional search engines and AI-generated search experiences.
Strong understanding of topical authority, search intent, information architecture, and technical SEO.

Additional Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience using SEO and web analytics platforms.
Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Experience collaborating with writers, developers, and product teams.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Strongly Preferred

Experience marketing to U.S.-based buyers.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint ecosystems.
Experience optimizing enterprise software websites.
Familiarity with AI content workflows while maintaining high editorial quality.
Experience improving organic demo requests and marketing-qualified pipeline.

Ideal Background

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked at high-growth B2B SaaS companies in categories such as Help Desk, Service Desk, CRM, ITSM, workflow automation, customer support, or enterprise productivity software.

Experience with companies such as Freshworks, Zoho, ManageEngine, Zendesk, Atlassian, ServiceNow, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira Service Management, Intercom, or similar organizations is highly valued.
