Team Pumpkin is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer – Print to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of print design, typography, layouts, colour theory, and production processes. You will work closely with creative directors, copywriters, marketing teams, vendors, and clients to develop high-quality print creatives that effectively communicate brand messages.

Key Responsibilities

Print Design

Create visually appealing designs for brochures, flyers, leaflets, posters, standees, banners, hoardings, packaging, catalogues, magazines, invitations, corporate collaterals, and other print materials.
Develop creative concepts and layouts based on campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and client requirements.
Translate creative briefs and ideas into effective print-ready designs.

Concept Development

Collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, and marketing teams to brainstorm innovative concepts for print campaigns.
Develop visual concepts that communicate the intended message while maintaining strong brand identity.
Adapt existing digital creatives into suitable print formats where required.

Print Production & Pre-Press

Prepare artwork according to printer and production specifications.
Ensure correct CMYK colour modes, bleed, margins, crop marks, resolution, image quality, and file formats before final submission.
Conduct thorough checks for alignment, typography, spelling, image quality, and other production-related details.
Coordinate with printers and vendors to resolve artwork and production-related queries.
Review proofs and incorporate corrections before final production.

Brand Consistency

Ensure all print creatives follow established brand guidelines, including typography, colour palettes, imagery, logos, and visual language.
Maintain consistency across multiple print collaterals and campaign assets.

AI-Enhanced Design

Leverage AI-powered design and image-generation tools to explore creative concepts, generate visual references, enhance imagery, and improve design efficiency.
Experiment with emerging AI tools and workflows while maintaining quality, originality, and brand consistency.

Adaptation & Resizing

Resize and adapt designs for different print formats while maintaining visual hierarchy and design integrity.
Create multiple versions of artwork based on size, placement, language, and production requirements.

Collaboration & Feedback

Work closely with copywriters, creative directors, account managers, and clients to understand briefs and deliverables.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently while maintaining the overall creative direction.
Coordinate with external vendors and production partners when required.

Project Management

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritise work according to deadlines.
Deliver high-quality artwork within agreed timelines.
Maintain organised working files and ensure final artwork is properly archived and accessible.

Trend & Industry Awareness

Stay updated on print design trends, typography, visual communication, production techniques, materials, and emerging design technologies.
Explore innovative print formats, finishes, and creative production techniques to enhance campaign impact.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of print production and pre-press requirements.
Excellent knowledge of typography, layout, composition, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
Experience working with CMYK, bleed, crop marks, DPI/resolution, and print-ready file formats.
Ability to work with different paper sizes, materials, finishes, and printing requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools is preferred.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an advertising agency, creative agency, design studio, or marketing environment will be preferred.
Experience handling end-to-end print projects, from concept development to final production, will be an added advantage.
