Manager – Sales & Marketing

(Filter Press / Capital Goods Equipment)

Hydro Press Industries seeking an experienced professional to lead sales and marketing of filter press systems for process industries. The role involves driving business growth through strategic market development, technical selling, and strong customer engagement in a highly competitive B2B industrial environment.

Basic Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
15–20 years of experience in B2B sales / marketing of capital equipment in process industries
Strong understanding of long-cycle, technical, and relationship-driven industrial sales
Proven track record in handling high-value industrial projects and key accounts

Industry Background:

Candidates must have experience in capital equipment sales/marketing within: Chemical Processing, Edible Oil Refining, Wastewater Treatment Plants (ETP/STP), Mining & Minerals, Pharmaceuticals (where applicable), Food & Beverages (process-critical applications), Process & Technical Knowledge, Strong understanding of filtration processes and solid-liquid separation (preferred)
Familiarity with allied equipment such as pumps, valves, and related process systems
Ability to interpret technical specifications, P&IDs, and customer requirements
Candidates from pump, valve, or similar industrial equipment industries will have an added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries.
Build a strong sales pipeline through consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and direct customers.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
Develop and implement sales and marketing plans for filter press products.
Expand business across different regions and industry segments.
Understand customer requirements and promote suitable filter press solutions.
Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and customer meetings.
Work closely with internal teams to convert enquiries into orders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
Prepare quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and tender documents.
Negotiate and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
Share market feedback to improve products and sales strategies.
Lead and support the sales and marketing team to achieve business targets.
Track sales activities, customer data, and project status using CRM.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management.
Possess good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: 12L PA to 14L PA
In addition to the salary, all applicable statutory benefits will be provided.

Work Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
