Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the application of testing methodologies and quality processes, monitors key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management, and fosters collaboration across teams to maintain consistent quality improvements and timely project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TOSCA Testsuite.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
Ability to analyze and interpret test metrics to drive quality improvements.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in TOSCA Testsuite.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
